Overview

Christian represents clients in all stages of complex commercial litigation from motion practice to trial, primarily focusing on real estate disputes. Christian also advises clients on various real estate issues to help them avoid litigation. 

Christian has experience in both state and federal courts around the country. He works with individual clients and businesses of all sizes to provide a tailored approach to each case.

Christian also maintains an active pro bono practice. He regularly represents clients in the courtroom in civil rights, housing and public benefits cases.

Experience

Real Estate Litigation and Counseling

  • Litigate and advise on a variety of real estate issues involving residential and commercial leasing, construction, land use, real estate investment including Opportunity Zones, commercial foreclosures, post-closing arbitrations, common interest communities (HOA's), boundary disputes, and more.
  • Christian has specific expertise in lease disputes, having litigated hundreds of them in many different parts of the country over the years. 

Mergers and Acquisitions Litigation

  • Represent investment firms and their operating companies in various post-closing disputes involving indemnity claims, escrows, breaches of representations and warranties, allegations of fraudulent activity, and more. Experienced in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
  • Pursue transactional insurance claims, including claims involving representations-and-warranties insurance ("RWI") policies. 

General Commercial Litigation

  • Litigate a variety of commercial disputes involving claims of breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and other claims that commonly arise in business disputes.
