Overview

Chris is an energy attorney who advises utilities, developers, emerging technology companies and investors on transactional and commercial matters at the intersection of infrastructure development, tax credits and evolving power markets.

His practice focuses on helping clients navigate complex commercial — and in particular Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) — issues while advancing renewable generation, data center, and other large-load and technology-driven infrastructure projects.

Drawing on more than twenty-five years of experience as outside advisor, in-house general counsel and senior utility leadership roles, Chris provides practical, business-focused guidance on commercial agreements, risk management and strategy supporting energy transition and infrastructure investment initiatives. He has supported dozens of projects, adding many GW of proposed wind, solar, natural gas and battery assets as well as more than $3 billion in transmission and energy infrastructure projects to help utilities, developers, and stakeholders advance complex energy investments.

Chris brings his experience as both internal and external business counsel to advising companies and investment funds on corporate, financing and transactional matters, with a focus on energy tax credits. His combined commercial, operational and regulatory knowledge enables him to help clients identify opportunities, manage risk and execute complex energy and infrastructure transactions.
