Overview
Abbie is an MSBA Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist who represents utilities, renewable energy developers, commercial developers, and businesses in the acquisition, development, financing, and management of real estate assets throughout the Midwest.
Her practice focuses on complex real estate transactions involving energy and utility infrastructure, renewable energy development, commercial real estate, and title matters, including site acquisition and control, due diligence, title and survey review, leasing, easements, and project development.
Abbie advises renewable energy clients through all stages of project development, with a particular focus on the real estate aspects of site acquisition and control. Her experience includes utility-scale wind and solar developments, transmission line projects, substations, battery storage, renewable fuels, and pipeline infrastructure. She works closely with clients on title and survey review, due diligence, leasing and easement negotiations, land rights, and other real estate matters necessary to advance complex infrastructure projects.
In her commercial real estate practice, Abbie represents owners, developers, and businesses through every stage of a transaction, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, entity formation, due diligence, title and survey review, contract negotiations, leasing, subdivision of property, development of common interest communities, closings, and post-closing obligations. She helps clients identify and resolve issues early, facilitating efficient transactions while minimizing legal and business risk.
As an MSBA Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist and Deputy Title Examiner for Blue Earth County, Minnesota, Abbie has extensive experience analyzing title, resolving title defects, preparing curative documents, and advising clients on title marketability and real estate risk.
