Fredrikson was honored with a Twin Cities International Citizen Award by the International Leadership Institute for work supporting immigrants and the community during Operation Metro Surge.
The Twin Cities International Citizen Award honors those whose work has contributed significantly to international understanding, cooperation, friendship and development. The International Leadership Institute recognized Fredrikson's Immigration Group attorneys and support staff who worked to uphold the integrity of legal protections during the federal immigration enforcement early in the year.
Fredrikson and all the International Citizen Award honorees were recognized at a September 24 event at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
